"Western forest" is an automated work designed by Marina Anaya and performed in collaboration with the University Carlos III of Madrid, together with the Industrial Engineer Sergio Jiménez Canales and the Industrial Engineering Doctor Concepción Alicia Monje Micharet. The result is a piece that breathes in the universe of the artist, always inspired by the encounters, the hugs and the loving moments of life.
Placed in a natural environment, the main characters of this play meet, activating an illusion in which the forest takes part. The bird flies moved by the energy from the characters.
All the artistic elements are made of prints by the technique of etching and acetate, from color and author’s proofs used by the artist for the realization of the final print series of some of her works. This way, as a collage with all these elements, this new piece is conceived.
