"And if it rains" is a tale of drafts and poems. An object book of 30 interchangeable cards with drawings by the artist Marina Anaya and words by the journalist Lidia Martín.
A notebook was the guilty. One of those full of drafts that arise without an expectation. Doodles during trips, pass times ideas, sketches of works accumulated and shared now by the artist. To voice those drawings, the journalist Lidia Martín joined this project. For every draft, a poem or a phrase. A story inspired by half done characters, a fable that opens the door to new meanings. A tale with interchangeable begining and end, an unfinished story for the purpose of enjoying sharing the creation process, the taste for the origin of Marina Anaya’s works and the game of the infinite posibilities of telling an image or reading a drawing.
